If you are an artist who is still posting anything you've made on Twitter, turn your back on it. Get everything you've uploaded off it and shut down your accounts immediately.

As this post explains, Twitter has quietly introduced the ability for other users to edit any images posted there by any other accounts with the use of its generative AI tool, which basically gives unscrupulous people yet another means of stealing from artists. It has long been one of the worst websites you could possibly use for art, and with the sort of person the current apartheid profiteer owner is, the harm AI has caused communities like ours and beyond is about to become a whole lot worse thanks to this.

That there is next to nobody in any position of power who is the least bit interested in doing anything about the many ways AI is being misused speaks volumes. Do not give this pathetic creature or any of his brown nosers the opportunity to steal from you. Get any and all of your art off Twitter if you don't want it to be stolen/fed into the site's AI machine.
