I just wrote a little rant somewhere else, but I feel like I would like to share it here. I don't know how many of you know this, but I consider myself a plushophile. I have for a while. Anyways, I was browsing FA a few minutes ago, and I came across a picture of some plushies thrown in the trash. I originally wrote a comment attributing the fact that it made me feel physically ill to me simply being a hoarder, but then I thought about it, and made an edit that said this:

"It's more than that. I don't feel like this when I see other perfectly good items thrown away, not this bad. This is injurous to my soul, and I think the reason is I have a deep love and respect for plushies that I know they can't return. As irrational as it is, to me, stuffed animals are living things, and trashing thim is tantamount to killing them. I'm a plushophile in the truest sense of the word. Philia (φιλία) means love. In the same way, I am a zoophile. I love animals, both real and plush and would never inflict harm on them. Yes, it is sexual, in both instances, but that's only a small piece of the puzzle."

I know not all plushophiles share my experience, and there's a good chance that the person who posted the photo also considers themselves to be a plushophile. I just want to know what everyone thinks. Yes, I also admitted to being a zoophile. That's no secret on the online world for me. I know that  FoxWolfie follows me, so if you're reading this, I would like your input.

Also, five minutes after writing the rant, it already seems cringy and overly emotional, but I just have to live with the fact that my true thoughts are like that.
