Story/comic script commission process
Step one: Question time
I ask about characters, settings, length, style, and kinks.
Give me as much or as little detail as you want.
No need to be shy about your kinks.
I'm probably weirder than you.
Step two: Outline and payment
I write a rough outline and share it with you for feedback.
Don't be afraid to reassert your preferences at this stage.
Once we're happy, I give the final price and send an invoice.
Step three: First draft
I write the first draft and send you updates every 500 words.
If I’m unsure of any details, I ask you for clarification.
You can suggest major revisions free of charge.
(Includes course of events, character personalities, worldbuilding.)
Step four: Second draft
I share the first draft and ask you to read it from the beginning.
Major revisions cost an extra $40 USD per 500 extra words.
You can suggest minor revisions for free.
(Includes correcting mistakes, improving dialogue or scene setting.)
Step five: Publication
I privately send you a PDF of the story, then publish and promote it.
I can change character names to preserve anonymity.
I will not write private commissions.
Editing commission process
Step one: Developmental feedback
I read your story once to give developmental feedback.
We discuss narrative consistency, style, worldbuilding, character arcs.
I read a second time to provide technical feedback.
We discuss punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, flow.
Step two: Editing
I edit a few pages to make sure my changes fit your voice.
You read the edited pages and provide feedback. I rework the rest.
When we're satisfied, I send an editable document.

I have the right to provide my stories to SubscribeStar subscribers and advertise them on social media pages.
I retain the right to similarly produce, publish, and advertise narrated audio versions of any stories I write.
You retain exclusive commercial rights to any projects you or associates produce that you are paying me to edit.
I retain the right to include my name in the credits of your project in a visible manner consistent with local laws.
I retain the right to use your project as an example of my editing work for my online portfolios.
I do not consent for anyone to use my content to train AI. This applies to private, personal and commercial AI use.
I do not use AI at any point in my artistic process. Everything I write comes from my brain and my heart.
Please do not send me AI art or text as references for your commission.
Stickman drawings or links to other artists’ work are a great substitute.
