I am me and nothing more.

After finding the Furry community I grew excited to meet people that I shared a bond with. I have come to find this was a false assumption. Most people are not the same as me in their reason for being a "furry". I think it best I step back into myself once again and resume my regular course through life.
I do not like people, I resent being one, I hate myself every time I catch myself doing something only described as human. I like my world I have built for myself where I see myself as something less human.
I have had people call me fake or try to say that I put myself on a pedestal. This is not so. I just am as I am. I don't like people, I don't like the fact that I am a people and would rather just hide away and only associate with a select few I deem "a little less human". Is it so wrong to be selective about the company one keeps?
My body is a prison and I look forward to the day I am set free. No, I am not suicidal. I will serve my time and do my best with what I have. I am trying to make my sentence a little more bearable. I hope my day of release will be sooner rather than later, it is very hard to put up with everything I am forced to do.

What you see in my art is my world, the world I see, the world I long for. It is my safe haven, my final resting place, my home.
