M'name's Erin. It's not my birth name, but it's the one I prefer. I currently live in the Deep South of the USA, and am in my 20's - I say it vaguely because I'm frankly too lazy to bother updating this once my age changes.
I'm biologically female. It's the body I'm stuck with. However, in personality and identity I am fluid; I don't care if you call me a he, a she, an it, or whatever other pronouns you can come up with so long as I'm treated with respect.
I'm an avid gamer. I love all kinds of games - but that doesn't mean I'm good at them. World of Warcraft, Terraria, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, Skyrim, Monster Hunter and Legend of Zelda are all in my gaming repertoire, though there's many more as well, and I love to talk about them all. I'm also a huge fan of anime, manga, and all things supernatural. And I'm a massive bookworm.
I have a dream of someday opening up a coffee shop / bookstore combination. Basically a library with free coffee and books, run on donations. (Again, just a dream!) I want to give the remaining booklover demographic a place to feel calm, safe, and in touch with themselves. The coffee part of the store is just so they don't have to leave when they're hungry!

I have Asperger's Syndrome.
For the uneducated on the subject, Asperger's (AS for short) is a form of autism. It's high-functioning, meaning most people diagnosed with AS are able to live on their own, with some minor accomodations. However, I'm not quite there. While I'm educated and have a dream, getting my feet moving towards my mind's destination is incredibly difficult. I'm also extremely sensitive to sounds and lights, and too much of either or both of these at once forces me to "shut down"; I become irritable, short-tempered, and sometimes downright mean.

I apologize in advance if this happens and you get the butt-end of it - I promise I don't mean any harm, and I try very hard to ward these "overstims" (over-stimulations) off before they can get bad - and if they do, I try my best to leave before others can be hurt.

That out of the way, thank you again for taking the time to read up on my "real life" - I appreciate it! I'm extremely open to new friends, so please don't hesitate to talk to me if you're interested in me (or any of the things I mentioned, like AS, and you want to know more).

***Addendum: I don't really draw much. Or write, for that matter. My main purpose in having an FA account is to be able to connect with the artists I enjoy seeing from, and talk to my friends where otherwise I don't have much contact. In other words, you won't see me submitting much. I will probably do it very, very rarely, though. /shrug
