I'm just a guy who likes to play. I draw and photograph, as well as color other people's art (always with permission.)

John is not dead (yet), just pining for the fjords! (G)
I've been little pre-occupied lately. About 8-9 weeks ago I had a bad flu that developed into pneumonia. It was horrible, but I persisted and won. Two weeks later my deep cough was still persist though, and I had a follow-up X-ray. Still "signs of pneumonia" and a second antibiotic. After that, another x-ray and still shows "signs of pneumonia." Third antibiotic (the heavy shit now!) and 10 days later still feel like crap. So they send me in for a CT scan.
CT comes back with an unknown spot in my left lung. Wait? Left lung? I had pneumonia in my right lung! All these follow-up x-rays have been seeing this mysterious spot in the wrong lung!
So... What's in my lung??? They don't know. It could be latent viral pneumonia, scar tissue from a previous chest cold, tuberculosis (!) which I'm being tested for on Monday, or - wait for it... wait for it... CANCER!
I went in and got the CT data from the hospital and along with a program called Osirix have found the spot in question and it's about 2cm by 2cm by 4cm at the outer edge of my left lung. So far we're just keeping an eye on it and seeing if it gets better or worse. I have another CT in about 6 weeks. Hopefully it gets better on it's own and it just looks worse than it is.
So yeah, a little distracted lately.
