Emerald is a middle child born into a dysfunctional family. Growing up, he had things rough. Mentally of course. He was decently healthy person physically as he was always willing to go outside and play around but his parents would always keep him inside. Unfortunately, his dad would "discipline" him with beatings and threats. As his mother would be mentally and emotionally manipulative with lies and doubting his very presence and abilities. It would've been obvious to assume that his parents are separated with secret hatred towards one another.

As he grew up his optimism would develop along with his slowly forming dream of being able to help other people. Being a slow learner, it would take time for his mind to put things together. Having a growing friend group would eventually further his goal to help those who needed it. Especially when he couldn't help himself. His emotions could never develop correctly as the trauma his parents would cause would play a factor in the stagnant and disruptive development of his mental health. Unfortunately having an irrational fear of spiders and heights, an unnaturally high libido, envious and wrathful dreams of others, severe down spiraling depression, suicidal tendencies and a unwanted need to be very open yet secretive about his pains and emotions.

Going into his older years, both teen and now, Emerald has developed more maturity and kindness. Through two severe breakups, the leaving of harsh and horrid friendships, a struggle to leave people, the mental breakdowns and crocodile tears shed, the loving assistance of friends around him, a realization of his needs and wants, and a continuous strive to be better and apologize to all, he's learned to slowly accept himself. The mental struggles in which he has endured has truly made him someone to think about. Emerald simply wants a break from his pains and regrets. But no matter what kinda hit he takes, he knows that there's more to come. He'll surpass 'em. And live.
