So I'm very happy with the progress I made last year with my art, but I feel like I can still do better going into this year.

First off my backgrounds suck still and while I did improve somewhat with them last year I think I should just sit down and do a couple 16 in 1 sets focused on just improving my backgrounds significantly this year. This also includes working on my perspective work as well because yeah that really sucks too.

I also think I should try and return to doing animation this year. Last year I focused on keeping up my efficiency so I could improve the speed I got my work done. I think this lead to some mixed results because as much as I love shading that is the part of my entire process that still takes a lot of time to complete. Though I did notice that I got way faster at sketching out ideas and getting things done up to flats in general which will work a lot better for doing animation. So I think I'll try and do some flat animations at some point this year.

These are two things that I'd like to work on this year, but if there's anything that you think I should focus on improving as well I'm open to suggestions.
