First drawn into this world of the internet while searching for a new avatar for my 'MSN Messenger' I stumbled across the webcomics 'ZebraGirl', 'Acid Reflux', and then eventually 'Dan and Mab's Furry Adventures' which is where I stayed. After that point I started attempting to draw (in a more serious/dedicated way than the first thirteen years of my life) and decided that anthro creatures were "easier" than humans. Though I unfortunately have not committed fully to my drawing in the past seven years since, I still feel I have a competent level to play with due to becoming part of the DMFA community.
So, while I may not associate much with even the DMFA community anymore, I still appreciate what being a part of this corner of the internet has done for me (ability to draw, forum to share crafting and singing projects, and likely most importantly; the increase of typing speed that resulted from being a part of the chatroom).
And that is the story of my stay in this little world of the internet. Though many of my original online friends may have moved on, I will remain here as I always have; appearing every so many several months to post artwork and to spam all of your inboxes with annoying user comments on your artworks.

Man... it's been forever and a day, huh? (G)

I honestly could not remember where everything is, took me a few clicks to even figure out where the 'new journal' setting was.
So, I don't know what's up in this corner of the internet at all, but some of the ads and search results make me uncomfortable. Is there a way to blacklist certain terms?
So, what's up with me? I'm still working at that degree, I've been through a few computers and phones since then (as well as cameras and recorders, but whatevs), and I've been in a couple new fandoms since I was last here. My current fandom has been going pretty strong since September 2016. Which is... weird? For me, anyway.
That fandom is what brought me here for research (don't ask), so I figured I'd crack my password and actually say "hi".
I'm pretty sure that there isn't anyone around to read this XD
Since I was last here I have also; started (and then fallen behind on) MLP, watched Steven Universe (yeesh, how about that cancelled ending? good grief...), watched and kept up on SvtfoE (except for this newest season premiere, I've been dealing with some stuff), and been through a few other shows and fandoms that I won't get in to.
I have not been keeping up with any of the arts, but I did take a writing and an editing course (which was super fun), I keep telling myself that I'm going to start drawing again. I got into bookbinding (again/more technically) this past Fall, which is very satisfying. In creating books for reference materials and for doodling, I'm hoping to make the practice more manageable. I've been reading A LOT (possibly more than before), but I've fallen out of leaving comments/reviews, which is why I also made a notebook for that. (I'm daunted by leaving reviews, because apparently most people these days don't actually *want* and constructive to their feedback; I've seen the wreckage left behind by other's attempts.)
And how about that tumblr fiasco? I've been forced to get a twitter because of that.
So; how are you?
