Okay, just wanted to make it official, on here. I've already updated on Facebook, but I know there are SOME folks here who don't read the "book of faces".

As of the VERY start of this year, I am now in a happily committed, monogamous relationship with Lung Ma (Dragon Mamma). We've known each other for a little over two years, first meeting at Oklacon 9 (2011). Since then, we'd really only seen each other at cons, but eventually started chatting online. At Oklacon 11 (2013), we finally got a bit closer, but were still "just" friends. Then we started chatting online, a lot more...conversations led to ideas, ideas led to plans, plans led to visits, and now we're officially "an item".
I don't want this to become a "gush fest", so I'll keep this bit brief. If you don't already know her, Lung Ma is an amazing dragon, kind and gentle, but unafraid to share her opinion. At the same time, she's open to opposing viewpoints, if said views are based on solid fact and/or principles. She's packed a lot of living into her __ years, has been through a lot of hard times, yet still holds onto the wonder and playfulness of youth. She's probably one of the most mature-yet-joyful friends I've ever met. I can only hope I continue to be worthy of her love, for as long as I breathe.

To paraphrase:

"I'm not a smart 'coon...but I know what love is."
