little life update (G)
My art has been incredibly slow, as probably noticed. I've posted a fair bit on twitter about it, but I can as well here.
Mental health has been decreasing immensely the last few months, it has greatly affected my work and I've fallen so far behind on bills that it is overwhelming. I applied for a support program, went and saw a new doctor and was told to up my dosage. So I took a heart test and got some blood work done, now I wait for the results if it's safe to up the dose.
The support program does still lead to issues. It doesn't cover credit cards, only "the essentials" such as rent, electrical, phone and food. If I want to pay the credit card, the lady on the phone says I have to take out money from the bank in physical cash to pay it off because they keep track of bank transfers, which is bullshit because my credit card IS covering my essentials. And since those companies are still waiting on payments, I also have to try to pay those through my bank itself since my credit card is maxed out. So I'm just SO overwhelmed.
Apparently I can still make a monthly limit of money through art (don't know what the limit is yet), it's just that the support program is here for me so I can try to get my life back in order and try to "fix" my mental health. So they don't want me working all the time.
I still have to wait for my doctor's note after the test results come in, to determine how long the support can last. They urge the doctor to sign for over 6 months because they can give more money then. That would give me time to catch up on my art que, but I don't know yet if they'll go for it or not.
So...yeah, it has been real rough right now.
