Just letting any and all who are still active and still follow this account that I am alive, well and have been semi-active for the last 4 years under a new identity. I have been going by the name 'Cupid Cat' for a while as of early this year, but have been under the official name of Valenscythe since 2021, I created the account in 2020. The name is my official fursona and has actually existed for a long time (since the beginning almost, probably since February 2006 if I were to give a rough estimate) but because previous existing sites from early 2000s that are now defunct I had been most commonly known as Valdevvo, I had decided to keep that particular name when creating this FA account in early 2011.

Valenscythe is something I wanted to keep and use as my official fursona and as a means of separating my more IRL world grounded self from this side of the internet as the society around the world online became more polarized and chaotic over the course of the 2010s, but 2020 broke me. That's when i finally decided it would be in my best interests to gradually phase away the more political oriented side of my identity from my fantasy oriented side of my personality online.

Effectively I had been in hibernation with this account for over 4 years now, but still remained a presence from afar, but now with recent significant changes in the global political climate that have a occurred for fairly obvious reasons of recent events I will not and should not have to state, I'm feeling a tad more comfortable with being transparent about my online identity (if only for the moment) in the furry community. I know alot of people here are outraged about certain recent events and are probably more paranoid than ever before (and maybe perhaps some of you here who don't completely lack total self awareness have a good reason to be so 🙄 ) But I will say that I'm definitely not supportive of silencing or censoring people of any belief in any form for any reason that is not in any way in defiance of the law. However it does seem somewhat ironic (if not karmaic) in the manner in which many people in this particular community are suffering, the pendulum swings one way and people of certain beliefs who are very static and polarized in their way of thinking are prone to the misguided belief that there would be societal permanence to their convictions and futility in the resolve of any kind of opposition and that the pendulum couldn't ever possibly swing back the other way ever again. That is a terrible mistake for anybody to make themselves believe.

I had thought about being a pious smartass earlier tonight and seeing if I could actually leave a comment or link to a funny video meme on YouTube on the and FA accounts, but of course the comments/shouts on both have been 😒 disabled 🙄. This was likely long before any of what has occurred recently has happened I would imagine since there have been no new comments made on either of those pages since March and December of 2020 (😒typical cowardice of those whose movement seemed to be at it's peak success during that time🙄)

Despite my desperate desire to move past the political drama of the furry community, many poarties have made it nigh impossible to do so, and as this is an account that I have allowed my personal views in past to be broadcast I will leave my final word with the following: I do believe many of you brought this on yourselves and are deserving of very little pity, but I also genuinely hope that a right cultural pendulum swing of "cancel culture" (not 'consequence culture', as many on the political right with a righteous indignation have somewhat justifiably but also zealously claimed) does not come for for the destruction of furry/fantasy and/or high fantasy anime and art community in totality, of something that was once seemingly overall harmless if not good.

I absolutely do not want to see FA, Discord or any other sites known for the community of art, fantasy/high fantasy cultures even remotely similar be taken down, shut down or completely wiped from the internet over what has happened in the past 12 days, but I fear that if certain parties of administration and the worst members of their respective communities with the furry and art fandom keep doubling down on defending and even legally shielding/harboring the most indefensible of actions then that is what I very much fear is likely if not completely certain to inevitably occur.😟

I'm no longer keeping on the down low this is my new account here> and even though I'm trying desperately to keep this half of my life compartmentalized away from the horrors and doldrums of the real world, that which I only desire to continue enjoying the escapism of the furry fanatasy/high fantasy art community fandom, but I fear due to the outright borderline suicidal stubbornness of many members (if not an outright majority) of this community and the fact that many governments and banking corporations of the word are presently responding to cultural zombie mob from Australia with calls coming from both sides of the political spectrum to push for legislation and actions that will lead to death of surface web anonymity permanently, and that such desire to have fun fantasy forums and communities are innocous if not invisible to the rest of the world will become impossible if not outright illegal before too much longer.😩 ☹️

This is my 29th Journal (in total counting Journals I have removed) and will probably be my second to last here on this site on this account/page.(pending whatever could occur in the upcoming few months🤷‍♂️)
