I drafted this pattern a year ago, and have made a few little rat buddies out of it. The photos aren't the best, I have a really hard time taking pictures of stuff before sending it to its new home. Thank goodness for random iphone photos. The lower right photo is of a pair of ratties in front of my grandma's fireplace.
I like to think they're like real life Cinderella rat buddies in their little scarves and shawls and vests.
They're made out of minky fabric, with wire armature in the tail and legs so they stand up all cute and alert, stuffed with polyfill for squishy bellies. They have safety plastic eyes and hand embroidered noses, with knitted or crochet scarves. I like making them little outfits, it's almost more fun to dress them and make little personalities with wardrobe.

I probably will, they're a lot of fun to make cuz I get to look up pics of cute pet rats. :3 I can't keep any myself so this is the closest I can get to having my own!
Eventually I want to release this as a pattern so people can make their own, but I'm still working out the kinks and proportions.
