I don't think I've seen any other Lego models of DNA formulated yet, so this may well be a first.
Here's picture one of three. Each codon, phosphor group and ribose sugar is made up of Lego bricks representing the atoms (colour coded) and the bonds between them, with Hydrogen bonds being represented with easy to undo clips. The bricks are inverted on one sense compared to the other, to represent the orientation of the atoms in real DNA. The model is extendable in real life, but to try to extend it digitally seems beyond my patience with this Lego Digital Designer software ( http://ldd.lego.com ) and its limited manoeuvrability.
