How do I Look? (Colored & modified version)
Draw #21, Submission #81, Done June 2, 2013-finished in 7 days.
I can say that I'm proud of what I have done here on Paint Tool SAI as this is my first art using SAI alone. I have made shades, and successful colors to my fursona!
In this one, I had some help from kittygirl101 in doing a lineart for me. I did notice that the lineart I had had a ruffle under my fursona's neck and over his chest- I did not like it because he looks like a Pokemon (Most likely, an eevee.) I did remove it. In addition, I added collar bones, and I did some minor changes on the eyes, shoulders, chest and lips. I like it even more now.
I might doubt on the bottom lip because it seems that despite that I shaded under, it seems that it is disconnected from the face. I would like to know how to shade black-I do know it is a challenge, but it can be done-you can see it on the arms, chest and collar bones. You judge-I can take critiques-I don't mind!
If anyone is using SAI, I used pen, marker, blur, plus a little bit of pencil, binary pen and ink pen to do this art. Seeing that I can do such shading makes me love the program! BUT, since I want to be a diversified artist (I will do traditonals also and do works on MSPaint and OpenCanvas 1.1), I won't use it often.
In using a former score scale that was scrapped after the 2002 Winter Olympics (Figure Skating), I rate this as a 5.6 out of 6-I'm proud! How do you like? give your rating in your comments. Thanks for viewing!
