This is Valentine. A wingless Butterfly Fairy Prince. His wings were ripped off when his kingdom was conquered. Their forest was taken over by another clan. Valentine was offered a position as a “pet” for the King of the conquering clan. Seeing as how his pride would not allow him to stoop so low, Valentine was set to be executed publicly. But, before any of that could happen, a human stumbled upon their forest and into the execution ceremony.
Long story short, the human- a man named Jake- saved Valentine and took him home….
Another long story short, Jake and Valentine end up falling in love and start a monogamous, romantic relationship. They are very happy together!! The only thing in their lives that leaves them with any trouble is…. their enormous size difference.
Obviously, this would make things awkward at times… and quite challenging. But they somehow make it work.
