Quick History
Briyan is the result of the first attempt by science to de-extinct a sample of Smilodon Fatalis... and it proved only partially successful. The creature was born with an abnormally dense brain, granting him human-level intelligence, and his unique dark fur coloring. Another observation was a strangely long natural lifespan, and scientists charted his lifespan to be near 40 years.
After 18 years, Briyan decided he'd had enough of being studied and escaped the science lab, turning to explore the world at large.

- Yes, I know that this is about as plausible as megafauna on Mars, but I'm trying to make this guy at least half believable, yet still fun to send to RP and get arts made of him.
