Here we go, folks, I decided to pull the trigger and finally actually auction this off!
This head was originally going to be a gift to someone, but they've since pretty much fallen out of the furry fandom, said they wouldn't get much use out of it, and gave me the go ahead to sell it! It was going to be a toony meerkat, in a sort of 1950's European animation sort of way. It could be, needless to say, many other manners of cartoony animals - I think the shape might make a good weasel or rat or something, too!
The head is solid foam construction, but super lightweight. The muzzle is hollow and the jaw static, but the ventilation is great! Needless to say though; this is just foamwork, and a lot is changeable. It was built to fit a 23" head, but it has a significant amount of slack on my 22.5" head.
This is going to be a ladder auction. That is, the higher the bid reaches, the more the winner is eligible for!
*The starting bid is 100$, which will get you the foam head, as-is.
*175$ gets the head with eyes, nose, and mouth finished and detailed - ready to fur!
*250$ gets the head furred and finished in a design of my choosing!
*350$ gets the head furred and finished to your specifications. Some design restrictions apply, inquire below if you're afraid your design is too complicated!
*450$ gets the head furred and finished to your specifications, mid-forearm length hand paws, and a tail!
*550$ gets the head furred and finished to your specifications, mid-forearm length hand paws, a tail, sleeves and feet!
I'm REALLY not wanting to make a full suit right now, but if bidding gets over, like, 1500$ (ha), I might be convinced.
Keep in mind! I'm essentially closed for work right now, so this is your main way of getting a commission from me for the near future!
Q: Are payment plans okay?
A: Reasonable ones, yes! Please get with me and propose a payment schedule, but generally, any that would have payment rendered in full in a few months are cool.
Q: Can it be something other than a meerkat?
A: Sure! Though the foamwork is going to remain essentially the same, but I am willing it to change it some to match other species (the ears, especially). This could be your weasel, mouse, rat, toony dragon - anything!
Q: I bid a higher bid, but I actually want your to design the character/just want the foam head.
A: That's fine! You can have any step or LOWER on the ladder that you win. If someone seriously bid 550$ and only wanted the foam head, you could do that.
A: What's the turnaround time?
Q: If it's of my own design and I have the fur on hand, like 3 weeks-1 month. Anything where I have to order fur might bump that up to 6 weeks-2 months.
Shipping will be additional, and calculated upon completion.
Auction will run until 11:59PM EST Thursday, September 12th!
Minimum bid is 10$!
