then hand resting on the other hand, out view right, his left.
looks a little out of place. It's angled so it should hold the handle of the sword more, does not look like it's resting on the hand beneath it.

It just looks like the hand is either levitating above it.

A more "normal" way, would be ina scenario where he still plans on using the blade, while still showing off a little, non relaxed.

SOmewhat what you tried abovew, more relaxed. Still holding the handle but relaxed. The thumb is around the handle adn the rest of the fingers rest on the hand beneath.
