a closer view of the mask. This is the first time ever making something like this. I do not personally like the look of furred dragon masks, so I sculpted this one off a resin drake base by Sharpe19 on DA, and now I'm painting it VS. furring.

I love the details! absolutely stunning work, and you're right it is a very big difference when compared to the furred dragon heads

I don't have anything against the furred dragons, I just really want a more realistic "Bad-ass" look as he's going to be fully armoured and have a big angry mace / war hammer type thing and a huge shield. In addition i feel sometimes the fur on the head makes it too big and I don't want the head to be dis-proportioned to the body. :)
