When it comes to cars in art, unless there's badging I don't guess what kind of vehicle it is. And if there's badging I assume that's what it is.

The GT86 is actually mostly Toyota with some fiddling by Subaru in the engine department (Scooby's Boxer layout and Toyotas D-S4 injection system).
The Toyota GT86 is the original version of the car, the Scooby BR-Z and Scion FR-S are the spin-offs - both of which are actually sub-par to the GT86 (almost exclusively relating to the interior - but there are some suspension differences).
