Because I don't really need a fourth site to try to keep up with? I already have and don't use Inkbunny, Sofurry, pretty much just use DA for what little browsing I may need from there. He's free to do what he wants, but that doesn't mean I have to follow suit.

Im just sayin since all you really need to do to keep up with a site like Weasyl is look on the homepage and check your notifications (just like FA) I'd figure that if you enjoyed his art you'd just... do that?

I love OP's art, I do. But I'm not about to start Weasyl. This site is just fine for me, I see no reason to move, so I suppose this is the end of seeing his art, other than my commissions.

Agreed. I don't understand peoples needs to move to a whole different site for it. I honestly won't be following everyone or anyone going to that site. I honestly feel like it's a phase more than anything. A motive to give people the feeling of power over something they once didn't have. FA's still strong in my opinion and I see no need to move.

Weasyl has features I like that FA doesn't have, and is actually active now. It's as simple as that.

That's if I kept up with it, however. But since it's not a main site for me, it like the others would languish over time, messages build up and I eventually remember to log in and check shit, and all I do is do a nuke. It becomes a chore is all. I'm not there because I want to be. FA's my main hub for the art I want to see, it's got some deeply ingrained shit, but I can still find what I'm after day in and day out.

Glad to hear to hear it, OP2. FA's been given plenty of time to turn around and hasn't done so. There's a reason why MySpace lost to Facebook even when it was the biggest in terms of traffic and everyone knew about it. FA is only popular because it's popular. I hope more artists follow your example.
