Lookit me starting with grey fur WAT IS THIS
I'm a mad scientist of FUR COLORING
figured many references I looked at showed grey in the blue feathers on these birds. so I wanted to start with grey as a base "feather" color!
still not absolutely finished with the details. but this is as of tonight. The mattyness of that black is irritating the FFF out of me. I'll try to smooth out as much as I can.
with them together... the first photos almost look greyscale and it weirds my eyes out LOL >__>

Airbrushing on fur is tricky! Hell, airbrushing on a canvas is tricky! ... or just airbrushing all together is tricky XD
Looks great though! Really, I didn't realize this was a mask when I saw it in my notifications, I thought it was a photo of a real bird before taking a close look when clicking on it XD

I love how in the bottom right picture he looks totally happy that he's all colored up XD
This is fabulous! You make fantastic bird heads, I don't think I've seen one from you before ( kind of a recent watcher ) but if I ever get a chance to commission you I think I'll definitely want a bird head :)

Ok cool. That is what my friend got me. The basic 8 color pack. Do you thin down the paint any? If so, with what? What size tip and what PSI do you find works best? Sorry for all the questions...I want to learn and you really look you know what you are doing ^_^
