I can confirm this is how Chicago looks at 4 in the morning as I type this... although that's mostly dawn and offices closed. Always check the windows before you buy. My room has no windows and I love it, it'd be better if it had light fixtures, or at least a lamp above 20 watts; but it's better than my last room, whose window opened onto one of those all-glass dorm buildings, right at the foot of my bed. College students keep the lights on all night when I need to get to work in the morning... it shone through my curtains even...
Anyway, the only reason this looks super-off is that the buildings are darker than the sky. It looks like a post-apocalyptic catastrophe - or at the very least a blackout - ah, they're the same thing. Even in day, the glass reflects sunlight. I have legit never seen a skyline in silhouette in all my years here. Light pollution isn't as bright as lights...
Sort of makes me think of Two Pru and the Amoco in the background (Aon, whatever)... Well, at least you can't fuck up Chicago more subtly than Darby Conley, so you're good. ^^

Funny thing is, I actually don't drink alcohol at all (well, there are a very small select few exemptions to that, but anyway)
I just use wine glasses because I'm too classy for anything else xP

I've a family tradition of homebrewing, so most beer tastes "cheap" to me... Of course, I live in America, all our beer tastes bad. I enjoy red wine and cider at others' behest, white wine and Molson's and thick Guinness on occasion, but I could never buy them... I'm between jobs right now and shoplifting most of my food. Alcohol isn't very high on my priorities list. (I would love to commission you once I set some money aside, though...)

Wine glasses? Nice AND classy. One of the easiest ways to look rich is to drink everything out of stemmed glasses. I don't know why it tastes better in them, but it does.

And agreed. I'm poor as hell generally, but I can pass myself off as being far better off by simply drinking from a wine glass.

It's cool! I expect an artist or a commissioner to have fiscal respect for their work. And I gighly recommend you try artisan cider sometime. It's the perfect housewarming gift, too - like wine, but tangier and less cliched.
