How do you organize a space party?
...YOU PLANET.
This is a work in progress but as I told Jolyn about the other picture I have such terrible ADHD now, newfangled art program rage, and absolutely no patience, so I have a hard time finishing things SOOO I MIGHT AS WELL UPLOAD IT NOW OR THERE'S A POSSIBILITY IT WILL NEVER GET SEEN. If I attempted my massive detail orientation in Sai as of right now I'd be sitting in front of the computer for weeks and it's totally not going to happen @ da memento. If you've ever seen a speedpaint video, that is like Lee in real time with the copic tool in Sai rofl UHHHHHHH but hopefully I finish this one day soon so it doesn't look like some crappy Newage picture.

Also that line is from Fringe because Jolyn is a jerkface and got me addicted to that series and I hate television.
Though said line is less ominous for this purpose.

OH MY GOD MY LEELEES WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?!?!? Ok so I open up my FB and even in the thumbnail I knew who it was obviously because of the coloring and I ran so fast across the internet and moved my finger so quick on that mouse button to get over here to FA to see this! I am in the middle of writing you a huge letter on FB in response to the one you had sent me before this, but before I send it I just had to get my ass over here and tell you how incredibly amazing, beautiful, powerful, meaningful, spiritual, and everythingul this is. I just. Ok. So there have been those few artists that I feel like they reach into my brain and pull out the images I have of my characters and draw it how I wish I could draw it and how it appears to me in my mind's eye. You are obviously one of these people, you ALWAYS have been. I just. I don't even know what to say or where to begin without making this comment the size of Africa but you know me and my comments I just can't help it, especially when it's something so incredibly meaningful to me like this. And talk about coincidences, you will see in the note I was writing to you that I was talking about "coincidences" that that line "what has written shall come to pass" couldn't fit more perfectly for so many reasons… I find it a metaphor to our friendship, to life, to "god", to Fringe lol ;3 But really, of course I read that and knew where you snagged that from and I had never put it together but shit man all Fringe science and Fringe things, they're all supposed "miracles," or "nightmares," and therefore the show in general makes me think of Gravity and really makes me think of Moth, especially with the atom image she has on her chest. I cannot get over the amount of detail you put into this and it's just a WIP?! GOOD GOD GIRL. It took me seriously staring and analyzing this picture to see what in the world could be unfinished, and I suppose you mean Moth's hair, but for real it looks kind of neat how it is, because her tail fading from where you did the fur to the "base color" flowing and mixing into the hair up until it gets back up to the more detailed area actually looks pretty boss. Continuity and flowing things and all that shit.
I SWEAR THOUGH YOU ARE IN MY BRAIN you saw how Gravity TRULY looks to me in a way I have never been able to capture. I like that he looks ethereal and omnipotent, but also a little creepy. The empty eyes is what I think hits me. And it couldn't be more suiting because Gravity does hold us down and keep us from going sometimes, which is a huge metaphor I've been learning in my life about who my "god" character truly is. Or moreso, how there isn't just one now, Gravity is my balance while Anima is in all terms of it, "god." But that is another ramble and in of itself GAH JOLYN STFU THE DETAIL ON GRAVITY I MEAN. WTF. The floofs!!! His hair and his beautiful chest fluffs, his tail, the fluff above his regular eyes…. I mentioned in the note but will say again here I love how you did his third eye. I had never thought to put it in the triangle. And I notice how Moth has her third eye open as well with those lovely eyelashes. I think the variations between her and Gravity compliment each other really well. I have to say I love his third eye in the triangle, I think it makes him seem that much more god-like and untouchable, I think it makes it seem that much more powerful a statement that "yo I'm god so gtfo."
I notice how you made his hands more like paws which I always did and you must have remembered ; ; And omg his pink little toenails *pokes at* The body type is exactly 100% how I see him in my mind's eye, so lithe yet strong, and so beautiful and naked but not in a sexual way at all, but a spiritual one. I also have always pictured him as so super skinny (idk why) and you captured that so perfectly while keeping him in proportion. I swear in all my old pics of him he had this giant head and tiny body and just wtf jolyn.
AND WHAT GIRL I LOVE THEM WINGS ON HIM! He's Gravity he can do what he wants! He wants wings he can have him so freaking wings. And I think it adds to this image a lot. And I think it represents subliminally the connection between you and me - wings and moths. Idk but that's what it makes me think of and what we have had, do have, and will always have with each other is so special and I feel this illustrates that. I mean, fuck girl, I wouldn't care if anyone ever drew their character with Gravity, I'm not like OMG DRAW My characturz right or I HATEU or anything, but as far as fitting with him, truly existing on the same plane as him? Not just anyone goes there.
Uhhhh ohhhhh I dno but it looks like Gravity may have gotten himself a girlfraaaan! ;) *grabs Moth and runs away* Seriously though, no other of my characters besides Lullaby could even exist in a realm where they could physically interact with Gravity. I can't think of many other characters, in fact, I can't think of any other characters of friends that could reach him on this realm. But Moth definitely could, and always has, this takes me back to the other image you did of them. They just seem to compliment each other so well. Not just because their colors mesh, but the way her hands and feet are so small and lithe while his are large and paw like, the way her third eye is open horizontally and his is in the triangle, the way he seems a little more animalistic and she seems more human…. god Moth is beautiful and she's only grown that much moreso now that I have seen this. I just adore her. Her hips are the most beautiful thing ever I just, mmmm girl giving ladies curve adds to their attraction, in my opinion anyway, and I like that all your female characters aren't just little skinny stick figures. What type of Moth's are her hair clips? I am trying to figure it out and failing. It goes without saying but I love how you drew all the moths around her. How they just seem to be at one with her and are obviously part of her design. She is so beautiful.
The crystal he is holding obviously is significant but I can't put my finger on it right now. There are still things I am trying to learn, I hope you can explain it to me. And I will say it makes me think of Fringe cause it's blue and see thru and the triangle and just Fringe Fringe everywhere even in our furry art pictures. That's it I say we turn Walter Bishop into a furry.
AND DUDE background is SO win!! Love the shooting star, the planet and/or star in the top, the variations in the colors and brightness of the stars, the kind of "fog" that is around them in areas like it would be in space around a nebula. Ok you keep drawing my characters in space which I freaking love I swear have you been reading my brain too about watching nothing but space documentaries all day today??? GET OUT OF THERE…. no wait it's cool you can hang out in my brainmeats they like you.
I can't thank you enough for this and I don't care if you don't finish this for 10 years or never I will still love this the same. This touches my soul my LeeLees, and I mean that. I love you so very much <33

NEBULAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..... I've been trying to practice my space backgrounds.. I KNOW THERE HAS TO BE A SPACE TEXTURE OUT THERE THAT PEOPLE CHEAT WITH but I'm too lazy to learn all that stuff so instead I slave with cloud/rock/and god knows what else textures in sai and tried to make my own.
I just REALLY wanted to completely finish this picture and make it super detailed.. but I was struggling with Gravity's body and I'm really weird about balancing and centering pictures and I just couldn't get it. I swear anytime I feel like I've perfected something in a picture, I can never get the other part right. I was really happy with how the background turned out and how Moth came out but Gravity was making me want to smash my head through a window. Probably also because I don't think I've ever attempted to draw an ACTUAL male body in my entire life ROFL fucking seriously. All I could think about was fucking Phee and her ridiculous understanding of anatomy.
I wanted to cover Moth's hair and tail in moonflowers and honeysuckle and a bunch of moths but I just don't have the patience for it right now. The moth on her leg is a luna moth.. the one on the top moonflower is a Polyphemus moth (which I think is super fucking ironic because I just looked it up... it just happened to be one of the first moths I found on google to use as reference but Polyphemus is one of the CYCLOPS described in The Odyssey; he was one of Poseidon's sons HAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAA HAAAAA one-eyed motherfucker) The one on the left is some fucking Hawkmoth or other.. they all pretty much look the same.. the same body shape as Death's Head moths. Silkworm moths were always my favorite which was what Moth "is" (I don't remember what hybrid she was; probably an arctic fox or some crap) because I guess I related to them; they've been bred in captivity for so long that they can no longer fly and their only purpose is to mate and die. BUT MOTH BE LIEK..
That was my REALLY crappily thrown together SUPER VAGUE Metatron cube with part of it erased LMA (that was another thing that I needed to draw seriously... but it would take me a good minute and I don't know how to make straight lines in Sai yet like I did with Painter Classic and I would need to be able to do that to draw a correct geometric figure). "Newagers" use it; and it irritates me sometimes... I feel like Newagers take and ruin everything because they just sort of make it fit whatever philosophy they decide to make up themselves at the time and clog up google and youtube with ramblings about ascending to the fifth dimension and I can't fucking find decent information on anything anymore. I'll have to message about you about it later when my brain isn't cosmic soup.

There really just aren't enough words in the universe to describe how beautiful and meaningful this drawing is. It's making ME emotional and it wasn't even done for me so I know Jolyn died over it I'm sure! <3 And why shouldn't she?? This is amazing. You are amazing. Forever and ever amen.
