I was never much of a visual artist but this one piece, from the early 80s when I was in high school (at "Alexander Ramsey High", now "Roseville Area High School"), was one that I saved. I found it, today, while cleaning the attic and throwing out old stuff. I'm glad I rediscovered it.
It is not a standard drawing. It is a piece of paper with a form of black sludge painted onto it. Then, with a scratching tool, I gradually removed bit-by-bit of the black until the paper was revealed, below. In the end, I had my howling wolf.
I'm almost afraid to ask how many people viewing this are younger than this drawing.

*chuckles* So many young kids in the fandom, these days! I feel like I should be on my front porch, shaking my cane, and yelling for the pups to 'git offa mah lawn!
I'm glad you like it. Most of my other art attempts (really bad stuff) have been thrown out. This one, though, I'm glad I kept.

Well, to-date, if I were born in the 2000's I would say I'm a kid, but come'on I'm not that young (No offenses intended)
But yeah, I always found amazing the technics of carving into raw material to make a whole new thing from it, it's pretty interesting.
I have done that once, a while back in my forced studies. Nowadays I didn't saw much of that kind of art very commonly.
