Anyway, on we go! The N'duti's tangible 'heat-wall' is a documented phenomenon in itself - there's no casual gradient from cold to hot, it's literally like sticking your hand into an invisible field of heat. There is speculation as to whether this is the result of a local spirit's work or not, as few people have ever reported sighting anything like a spirit - and most of them were delusional with heat stroke anyway.

Yeah, I remember that from one of the supplemental D&D books I picked up. Had a picture of some poor Dwarf who was too damn stubborn to learn about desert attire. Guy was sweatin' in full plate armor and looked like he was about to keel over! Doesn't really breathe much, that metal stuff.
Least it's a cheap way to cook lunch. =P Just scramble some eggs, put some cooking oil in your helmet, and fry 'em up good! 'Course, that's more brunch, I suppose...
