Yeah, i'm sorry that happened :( I was shocked to see how many people were replying when I refreshed the page, either way I'm not offended by what you said, I hope you're okay and don't let this get you down, you're as entitled to what you think as everyone else is :) *hugs*
Uuu, i'm sorry and you can hide this comment but it's not good to defend behavior like this. defending people who make blatantly rude comments on your prices only promotes their self-entitlement and demotes your right to your prices. i know you may not mind it, but there are plenty of artists out there who lack the confidence to give themselves prices they deserve due to this behavior.
Omg. I completely understand
Some artists do auctions
This to me is like artists who don't know what their art is worth
Which is completely understandable...
Everyone wants to get paid decently,
But no one wants to say "I think I'm worth x amount"
And then someone come along and say that they are good enough for it
It can be a huge confidence killer
Falvie needs to pay bills too
And in my own opinion
I think that majority of her art is worth $150
A detailed drawing like your pinups are worth it Falvie
And then you add in a background
I understand your pricing

Know what you mean haha! ;u; Most people are jealous sometimes because they can't afford it, or because they don't get as much money for their art as you, charge whatever you see it worth it, and as people can see people WILL pay for it which means it's a completely fine price! ;u;
have people seen Falvie work? like really? I missed the drama and Im glad I did. But I do want to say that funny thing is that people forget that for a lot of artist use their talents as their only income. This is their job how they provide for their family and for themselves. Not only that but do you really think that Falvie just woke up with this talent and its just easy for her to do this? It takes time to get to this level of skill. Think before you bitch about price yall. Just my two cents thrown in
I so wanna see this finished :'D And thanks to this imma go make some noodles now x'D
It's really awesome that you've started going into BG's as well, Falvie! It's quite an inspiration and really freshens up your gallery and style! :)
And then a random-ish question... How long does it take you to sketch something like this? o.o

Hmm, people being butthurt because they cannot afford your art, hm?
Don't listen. As long as you have paying customers, any price is right. That's the simple concept of a self-regulating market.
And to not sound like a rich douche to the rest: I cannont afford (Falvie's) art either, but wish I could. Still far from butthurt though.

I personally think 150 is a good price. I mean, if there ever was a company who specialized in these things, you wouldn't have gotten it cheaper. The man-hours of work that goes into it, You gotta feed and pay bills, I mean its fair, right.
If you're paid enough, you don't have to get a second job, which means you can draw more, so more people should charge more =)

But this isn't a company. Furry artists rarely pay taxes on what they receive. No one here is making money from the commission they commissioned, which is the reason the industry standard is so high. Having a real job would suffice to pay the bills versus living off a community, where the income is unstable and the patrons are poor. Only a few artists I know treat the art they do on here like a 40hr/wk job, but I know they don't pay taxes on it, which only hurts everyone in the long run.
I can understand the complaint of the pricing. when I first found this artist out, I said "Wow this persons art is actually pretty good. I'd like to commission this person. Let's see... here is the commission info... holy shit... nop." It was too much for me then, and it's too much now XD I'm not trying to be rude here, but I could go to another artist and get a commission of roughly the same quality for $75, maybe even $50. I ended up just adding this person to my watch list because even though I'd never commission him I still liked some of his work.
