You know having such a voracious body I'm surprised anyone even comes near you without expecting to end up inside. Even as a pooltoy you're not safe to be around! Not to mention that while a pooltoy being slightly transparent would be very possible it would add to the humiliation factor of the prey being shown around how they got caught and now belong to the pooltoy.
I don't imagine it ever getting "transparent", 'cause Vinyl doesn't really stretch enough to become transparent like rubber/latex can. The only thing that usually gets through vinyl (unless it's made to be clear) is light, so only silhouettes would show through, and only if there were a light source on the other side~
