This is not a poem that I wrote, but one that was shared with me by a dear friend who I have long since lost contact with. Her name is Keeley, but preferred going by her online alias, Katya Saint Croix. She was quite the remarkable person, so much so that I ended up using that alias as my own when I joined Yiffstar back in the day (now SoFurry). Don't worry, she's not a furry. Never really shared her feelings on the subject, even though I asked a lot.

This is a beautiful piece that I ended up memorizing so I could share it with people.
