One of a few variants of burly koopa henchmen which appeared on tumblr a few months ago. This one's probably my favourite.

Like the Hammer Bros.' hammers, he has a seemingly infinite supply of tomahawks.

That's an interesting choice. But I would guess it's not something Nintendo would endorse as axes may be seen as "too violent". I enjoy how you also enriched his design with ornamental feathers.

But AI wise, how would a Tomahawk Bro be any different than a basic Hammer Bro? Perhaps when thrown they can curve upwards, paying homage to Mega Man VI's Silver Tomahawk weapon.

Said throwing arc could be deliciously annoying too. Imagine that you are just trying to avoid taking a Tamohawk to the face, so you jump over it. However, you failed to take the upward arc into consideration and instead take a blade to the ballsack!

I love seeing artwork for characters and enemies that aren't used anymore. It's a really fun way to bring back a nice piece of the past. Course now I gotta suggest The Amazing Flying Hammer Brother as a possible candidate for one of these pictures.

You know, if Mario turned those feathers into a feather war-bonnet, instead of a super-hero cloth-cape, he could just go "Hao, take me to your chief" and the tomahawk bros. would lead him straight to the castle where the princess is at (cuz where there is princess, there is bowser!) XD
