It's actually my original fursona! (Well, okay, the fox/cat/lynx that I went through in my first week of discovering the fandom and designing my own character doesn't really count.) I sorta replaced the caracal with Keovi in 2005-6ish, then Kio took center stage around 2008ish.
Kio/Keovi have always been more public alts, the caracal is (generally) much more personal, and a more abstract representation (thus no name or consistent gender/androgyny).
And thank you! :D It is fun to be drawing lots of cats again, although I must rein myself in and not always give them long, luscious tails and big chins :s
