This is like ... my fav picture of my (new) fav character. Okay so I've been sitting on it for a while and since watching the second season of American Horror Story, I loved how the outfits seems to cling flatteringly to their bodies. Like it was so revealing even though fully covered. Then what I figure to be the best species for what I wanted, I love the design of a panda. I also love black and white as my fav colour combination. Then I was bubbling up plans for her in the future and a friend said something like, "that's pretty blasphemous, people might get mad". So ... not sure if I want to do that any more. *w*
Anyway I have a previous picture showing my panda boy, and so these two are siblings, going through the worlds problems in their own way. They're both haters.

I say people will cry over anything. If they want to get all up in arms about this being blasphemous, but then have a gallery full of furry porn/favorites full of it, then they are being a hypocrite and need to get their head checked out. I've been in a few informal debates over on DA, and people get offended by the stupidest things. Once, someone went on a rant of 8 paragraphs (a freaking small book!) because I said that humans are primates. o.o So don't worry yourself over people getting upset, some might, most probably will not. Hell, most will probably fav and run.
As for the art itself, I quite like how you did the expression on this characters face. And I like the idea that you are tying in your fandom to your art but in a way that's not a direct copy. So cheers!

Haha I was in a similar debate about whether people are primates/animals on another site, pretty exhausting stuff. I wish I wouldn't cower at the first sign of confrontation, the way you put it feels like that's make blasphemy all the more fun! I do think the story I have planned has some good kinks I'd love to show, if I get the time I will go for it, thanks! >:3
Please do share! And not simply because of kink. I honestly find it refreshing when artists/writers bother to show that everyone, religious or not, have their ..ahem..wild side as it were. Sure, you can take a vow not to have sex and whatnot, but one's brain cannot be reprogrammed in such a way simply by belief to ignore what the body does involuntarily.
