You know, the biggest problem i see in follow-me eyes is that because of how they are built, the iris is mostly covered in shadow and the eyes appear dark, sometimes even almost black on pictures. I've seen pics of heads with illuminated eyes.
Most times the light spreads over the white of the eye too, i wonder if there is a way to avoid that.

Your light effect is really nice, i like the idea with the glass fibre between the fur. I wonder if its possible to spread light with isolated glass fibre over the whole suit? It would reduce the electric stuff to one small unit and save some LEDs (e.g. if someone would like to have illuminated claws). It also would make the suit washable without risking much. ^^
