Not really, but they generally dislike all outlanders and tend to think that foreign diplomats, ambassadors and wealthy merchants are potential threats. Their cult is very esoteric and they're not easy to reach, so they seldom have to worry about unwanted attention.

They have some potions that make them unable to feel physical pain and since they do all kinds of aerial stunts while they run around the rooftops they also have potions that take away the fear of heights. Otherwise they don't use drugs while working. They have their private little ceremonies for that. ;3

Don't worry. Your eyes are too precious to be stolen. ^_^

This was a nice coloring experiment. The lineart had been collecting dust for months before I finally decided to color it. I'd say that it took about two hours to draw the characters and about four hours to color the thing. It's hard to say for sure, because I wasn't entirely serious about the whole thing.

Filtering is the trick. I didn't shade this picture at all and most of the colored areas are completely flat - like the armor (save for the little highlights). It looks smooth because of all the blurring and the textures. :)

I've always secretly wanted to learn how to ride a horse. I've been drawing them for so long it's about time I take the bull by the horns, so to speak. Or the horse by the reins, actually.

Well, good luck with that! I'm assuming that Johannes will take lots of embarrassing photos of your lessons to amuse me with. Really, it's the least you can do for me letting you pet Simson's rump while we were filming Dunnotar Manor (not sure how the name is spelled).

The place is located near Turku, at Askainen. I'm most likely going to kill myself by falling from horseback in the end, but at least I'm starting carefully by getting to know horses and the way they think. The person doing the teaching is actually Johannes' brother's wife. She has a horse named Jazz.

Dark and moody, dark future type of scenes are always interesting to me even if they aren't originally intended to look that way.... the background is quite well done too.

For the background I just used a couple of photos depicting the medieval city of Carcassonne. I made custom brushes from the towers and assembled them vaguely together. After that I painted over the whole thing.

This is a neat illo. It pretty much says, "Look how COOL these guys are!", which is the first thing I need to know as a player :D

I've roleplayed these guys a lot and I'd say that they lose some of that edge when you get to know them. These guys here mostly just care about their stomach. According to what I've heard them say, the elder cultists don't give them enough food and that's why their mouths start to water at the slightest promise of a blood sausage.

The guy perching in the middle is called Ärnabun and he absolutely hates it when the elders make him clean bird shait off the floors. In a temple complex full of ravens, there's bound to be plenty of that.

The guy sitting just below him is called Ibrigyn. He's been scolded a couple of times for taking his helmet off while in duty. He likes to play ninja tag with Ärnabun.

It's more like a result of a lot of doodling. I lazily drew the characters one by one while roleplaying and afterwards colored the thing without much fuss. It didn't came out absolutely fantastic, because I don't know much about perspective and stuff like that, but I suppose that the atmosphere came together nice. :)

I've already made one, actually. On this one occasion Ripkin joined emperor Krissos's court masked as a sophisticated Cillornian diplomat. He caused a rift between Krissos and his most esteemed knights. Thesr raven guys were greatly annoyed by this whole affair and they tried to kill Ripkin a couple of times. They even succeeded once, but to their great surprise and displeasure Ripkin just sprang back to life. It's very hard to get rid of him.

I wish I could say that I alone am responsible for the architecture, but that's not entirely the case. I used a few photos of this old medieval city called Carcassonne - I cropped them, flipped some of the towers, made custom brushes based on them, painted over them with Painter and applied some filters afterwards. If you look at the coned towers in the lower left area of the picture it's pretty apparent that they're more like one single brush than anything based on hand drawn lineart. The outlines are so shamefully clean that the cluster of towers looks like a sticker. :)

I didn't want to just copy the outlines of the original buildings so I altered them as well as I could. Uh, but I still think it's a pretty cheap trick, so I'm slowly try to learn how to draw my own buildings.

Nonetheless it is friggin' cool and you made the effect yourself. ^_^ I could never do that
