“Some would tell me that with each piece I loose myself, but while I take away the flesh, the scars go with it. The sting of life diminishing bit by bit…”

That's the one where Spock's half brother starts a cult that takes over a shithole of a nowhere planet, then hijacks the enterprise to go meet 'god' in the center of the galaxy. His principle method of convincing people to go along with them consists of 'taking away' their pain, which Kirk refuses(thus the quote).
The most interesting thing in the entire movie was probably the Felinoid dancer with three breasts.

Nothing wrong with being a cyborg! I mean, once you've lost enough biological parts that you're not considered much of a person... then you can stop using humanoid body parts. Giant mechanical spider body, anyone?
... also, am I the only one who thinks "Pneumatic penis?" whenever the topic of cyborgness comes up?

"Others would say that even without that flesh which defines me I am still more human than I will ever understand."
I contest that body=/=soul. Thus even if you remove the flesh, the spirit remains.
I like being deep sometimes too :D
Normally I'm just the weird quite guy in the corner/loud guy distracting everyone

Nope, don't have one, but I'm not sure I'd want to try it after watching this:

That's another thing, the arm's larger and heavier than the original and it will have an effect on her health due to homeostatic imbalance. She'll have chronic conditions up the ying-yang until she gets a new regular-sized arm.
When I was doing massage, I used to get women who damn near needed a wheelchair to get around because they had a boob job and went up just a single cup size.

gotta say, for how heavily modified she is I don't think that we can either assume it is not a problem or won't be for long. it looks like her hips, arm, and back are modified if not replaced. If these can be assimilated into her overall form without problem then I don't think the oversized part will be a problem. ...and if they can't, she can just replace the parts of her frame that fail, one way or another. (be a good reason to adventure if you need the money for upkeep... just look at Scud! ... slightly different premise, but similar idea.)
We, all of us, lose bits of ourselves throughout our lives. We're cut, shaped, molded into beings that serve purpose. Perhaps to our own design, perhaps not. We are but what life makes us. Through the shaping we cling to the hope that we don't lose what makes us who we are.
We, all of us, lose bits of ourselves. Just sometimes those bits are more visible than others.

"Heed not the words of men,
For that which is flesh is flawed,
And thus that which is flesh-made
Is also flawed.
Descend the ladder once more to gain perfection,
A design at fault in neither the body nor the mind.
And thus it was declared that the
Kin of machanicha were exist upon
The Universe, given to drink
What they may of what they will."

I've been watching your art for a little while now, and at it's core, you haven't changed much from the days when SMT was in full swing and Chrushed and Wheasel Boy were in their prime. I've been enjoying your latest art, but this one, I really felt I should comment on, because this is the first one to really speak to me. As someone who has been though more than his share of pain and grief, I can understand the lure of slowly sacrificing my physical body for a mechanical one. This is an idea that you've portrayed, very beautifully, I think.
