the first character to get slapped in the back of the head by shadow and cry is definitely a personality for the books thats for sure. Though blaze was absolutely the bomb.

People really need to stop judging Silver by his portrayal in 06. That would've been a terrible game for ANY character to debut in.

Sorry to say, but his character in Rivals 2, which is where he's canonically reintroduced, isn't that much better since he's a raging douchebag with absolutely no common sense. So yeah, Silver still sucks. In the games, anyway. He's a significantly better character in the comics.

But it's not like it matter since Sonaze is where it's at.

Silver is honestly a bit of a joke in the comics, and he's gradually become a better character as the games go on. That's called character development.

And I never argued in favour of Silvaze, I can't understand for the life of me why people support it en masse.

No he isn't. He developed into a significantly stronger character in the comics that actually considers other possibilities aside from whatever he thinks up in his head and thinks before he acts.

And no, he hasn't gotten better in the games because he hasn't even been in any with a significant role. Comic Silver is great, Game Silver still sucks. End of story until he shows up in a main series game again in the next decade.

And really, I could go on for quite some time about how the comic fucks up nearly everyone from the games, Silver included, but it'd take too long.

I think you mean the first Rivals game... Where Silver is actually really intelligent... This is the same guy who figured out that Eggman Nega was disguised as Dr. Eggman, while Shadow Knuckles and Sonic didn't... And Sonic and Knuckles know of Eggman Nega as of Sonic Rush... Oh, and his special attack can fuck up your controls.. How's that for sucky? And Silver actually has character development in the games, as opposed to the comics, where he's one of the many characters that are overlooked in favour of some romance soap-opera drama that constantly gets shoved down the reader's throats..
