By the way...

-adding waffles on the plate still gives waffles. Plus, it's obviously associative (as long as you end up with three waffles, it's not important if you took two then one or one then other two;
-the neutral element is the empty plate;
-the inverse element is you when hungry for waffles, as adding your hunger to awaffles will only leave an empty plate (which is the neutral element;
-the order with which you put waffles on the plate doesn't count;
-the inverse element is not waffles though...

...so I'm not really sure is a group. Unless I chose the wrong inverse element? Is there, say, a waffle that added to the plate reduces the number of waffles? Maybe that waffle that fell on the floor?
