One of the pieces I found on an old hard drive, this one's old, you can see the signed date from 2002. It also makes me a bit depressed that I can't remember the artist who did this as I really like this piece and style.
As you can probably tell when Final Fantasy X came out, I really liked Blitzball. I know some people dislike the minigame but it was a lot of fun for me, I've never really been into sports or sports games but this was different.
PS: If anyone recognizes this artist let me know, I would love to credit them properly!

I don't know who did that piece, but I too remember when I played FFX, passing hours in Luca playing Blitzball, building my team to be the best and levelling the players. My personnal record in continuous Blitzball minigame play time without getting back to the main story was 5 full season if I remember correctly.
I always sucked at Blitzball. I wound up getting my friend 
IceBlueEyes to complete FFX's Blitzball sidequest for me to get Wakka's ultimate weapon upgraded.
