I apologize, but I don't see anything in the law allowing one to claim another's trademarked character as their own. May I ask you show that exact part of the law to me, I'm interested in it. Not trying to be a jerk!

I was given an example through a video someone linked me back when the fandom attacked me dealing with a comedian putting the word DUMB in front of the star buck coffee label and opening his own store called Dumb starbucks coffee. He made one change and got away with it. (The coffee apparently sucked so I doubt his business is still going but that's not the point). I have changed things about the character and basically took his likeness. Story is different now (granted this picture was drawn in the very early stages so it was more based off of GTAs story). I describe it as hollowing the character out and taking the shell. GTA Trevor and Daddy T are two different characters that happen to look similar.
