They were not designed to no, they were sculpted to be slightly more feral/androgynous. That is why we decided to offer clothing that has the option to give the impression if needed :)
After the upcoming spirit avatar, which is an older androgynous build like the otter. We will be offering standard male and female shapes again, we are currently working on the mesh for them.

There was one heck of a dry spell in general, I tend to equate it to learning mesh and how to deal with mesh etc at a level one can be confident at selling items without issue.
