's Mochi and my Merkaba. They are totes awesome bros and run around causing trouble together. Kaba is often distracted with his fascination of Mochi's hair. (Kaba is also usually tripping balls, so you know, the colors man, the colors!) And Kaba has taken to wearing candy and pocky and other sorts of goodies in his ears for Mochi as they wander about causing mischief. I actually spent a long time on this, couldn't stop adding details to Mochi I was just on a roll! So much fun. Very pleased with my new scanner and how it captures more of the depth of my colors. Too bad it still doesn't like the pink gel pen much but that's ok. I also recently got a new computer and no longer have access to Photoshop so I don't have anything to edit this with... I used iPhoto to modify it a bit.. do any of you have suggestions on a program I could get to just do simple alterations to pictures after scanning them, and maybe add a plain and simple colored bg?
One colorful glam fab bat and one colorful country boy fox. <3

Aahhhh I get a Gravy comment! *melts* You are so sweet lovely, thank you for all your kind words! It is fun doing more with brighter characters again! I admire Frick's creativity because I am no good with pastel color combinations and the way she designed Mochi is just gorgeous. I stick to the bright and more solid color schemes, sorta? But I do want to expand! She's helping me with this, I have a new creation in the works and guess what breed of dog she just might be.... ;3'
And eeeee you even noticed the sprinkles!! You are the best ;;
You SO should draw some of your old crazy colorful characters again! It's fun bringing them back and drawing them and seeing what happens !!f Thank you again!! <333

Her hair is turbo adorable, I'm just in love with the colors :3
Makes me miss my pink hair. Curse having to work in a normal business place. :C
I was able to get an older version of Photoshop that was no longer being updated and supported, I'll have to ask the man-beast as he was the one who installed it. Also, GIMP tends to be the go to alternative, but I hear that it can be a pain in the butt to use sometimes. But if you're only doing small alterations, I can't see it being that big a headache.

I'd suggest either GIMP, krita (my fave!), or maybe FireAlpaca? All are free projects. Of them, I know krita the best and find it easiest to use, GIMP is more difficult for me but more standard, and I haven't used FireAlpaca much but it's a lot like SAI and I've done some light editing in SAI. Also I think CS2 is available for free download now by adobe if you wanna stick with what y'know??
I agree with Kaba, that hair is awesome! I don't think you went overboard on the details at all haha
