Hey! Just wanted to know that this somehow got circulating around and Rich Moor, a director for Zootopia (as well as Wreck-it Ralph etc.) commented on it as an "interesting theory" / "could it be?"

Marian's concern could also be a matter of a Mother's desire for Grandkids and the risk of Disney genetics kicking in, and getting only bunny babies. And, for all their reputation of being fun-loving and/or irresponsible tricksters and social outlayers, foxes can be terrible snobs among their own.
So I just checked the box office!...
It would seem that, just by domestic gross alone, Nick's movie has done a slight bit over ten times his parents' movie (we could add home versions sales on one side and worldwide gross on the other, but it still goes over that), so... did Marian ever got off Nick's back? And maybe eased up on the racism considering all the fanart that exists of the 'happy couple' (with variying degress of cute, romantic, beautiful, hot, etc.)?
