Sketch 49, Murdoch - The one who started it all.

Who’s this guy? This is Murdoch; the man Felicia is searching for so that she can settle the score started between he and her father. He knows all of her moves, so taking him down will be Felicia’s greatest challenge.

Admittedly I’m still not totally settled on his design yet. That said, this is only the second time I’ve drawn him officially in this form. So far he’s been the hardest to design for, both in his looks and his history. Is Murdoch his first or last name? I’m not sure yet, but I’d say it’s safe to assume it’s his last.

I had to have my roomie take reference photos of me doing this pose so I could draw it. It’s far from perfect and I’m pretty sure my stance was crap (or made worse here, lol), but it’s workable enough. That said, this one came together relatively quickly compared to some of the others.

Anyway, this is the catch-up sketch for missing yesterday’s upload (the previous two were for Friday and Saturday respectively). With that, I’m gonna take a week off from the dailes so I can work on some behind-the-scenes stuff. Mostly writing and figuring out various character stuff and things.
