I saw an AWESOME Wolf Sword by Legacy Forge last week but knew my head was too clouded with heat exhaustion to be trusted to make decisions. But with a clear head, I decided I needed to go back so yesterday I made a bee line to their booth when the gates opened and make my big purchase for the year. They were also kind enough to take this picture of me posing with it before putting it in a sheath and peace bonding it.
Since it was 15 degrees warmer than it was the weekend before, I just went as Ren Faire Partial (head w/ helmet, paws, tail, & toe boots). I still got lots of complements and good times. Even heard someone bring up Redwall.
It also acted as the first test run of my new helmet. I was happy that I didn't really have problems with it wanting to slip down. Even more important was it didn't seem to make my head heat up any faster than normal.
