Just about the only things that was good about AC4 were a few songs and a couple designs.

Sorry! No offense meant at all haha.
I'm a die-hard AC fan, been playing since 1. Silent Line was probably my favorite, but really any of the PS2 games besides Nine Breaker (and to some extent, Nexus) are pretty near and dear to my heart.
I have a weird appreciation for 4; it's one of those things where I kind of really like everything but the game itself. I think the story and atmosphere you can glean from it is really cool, maybe one of my favorites. I'd pay for a decent remake, with fixed contrast, and the story not cut-out of it. Seriously, I checked the wiki and other peripheral sources to get the whole story, and I was so disappointed on what I missed / was left out / really vague.
AALIYAH is such a cool design, and some of the tracks are freaking awesome (Rain, Mr. Adam) - but at the end of the day, I guess it didn't really feel like an Armored Core game to me. It was different, maybe in a good way, but not different in a good way for AC to me at least.
4A Fixed a lot of the problems I had with 4's actual gameplay, but I still wasn't totally sold on the super-gundam direction they were going with. It's kind of a shame to me, because from what I can gather online, a lot of newcomers to the series started with 4 or 4A, so they think that's how all the games play, haha.
