Here we see the Mojave Cannonball, northbound, as it exits Tunnel No. 2 on its way to Ballarat, CA.
The locomotive was re-skinned by myself and the Drovers caboose/combine was done by a friend on DA.

Thanks, though I want to see if I can swap out smoke files. The smoke effect used by K&L Trainz is fantastic and much better looking, not to mention more realistic in general. And I need to add tunnel smoke effect for when a train exits a tunnel.
Although I've spend several hours working on this route I've only just started. I need to lay track all the way to Ballarat, which is almost done. Then I can start adding proper ground textures, plants, buildings and scenery. So this is just the "easy part" as it were.

Yep! It certainly is! But this is the most challenging part of the line. Both from an operations perspective as well as a constructive one. I have to maintain a constant 4% grade to descend into the Panamint Valley. And I still need to find an ideal location for the Whitaker Borax mine somewhere. >_<
