Slate Range Pass is located a little ways from Milepost 23, and here the Mojave Cannonball is just passing Milepost 24. Here the train is about to cross one of many gulch trestles. As with the rest of the route, only basic ground textures have been used. This area is pretty barren and so it will be mostly desert sand, rock, and small shrubs.
