Wait... is this a Dolls of New Albion reference ..? I THINK IT IS?!
Paul Shapera is a GOD. My boyfriend bought me his cd release set and for the past 2 years all I have listened to in my car, everyday, is the 4 New Albian operas he did and it's become my life now and I am obsessed and know each word and line and I kind of hate myself but I AM SO HAPPY OTHERS KNOW OF HIS GLORY AND TALENT. The beauty of the stories.. the sacrifices made by the characters.. it's all so well done. I am honestly glad to even know someone who appreciates his works as they are such a significant part of my life.
Fucking fabulous voodoo punk art btw I have always envisioned their dress and costume and you got it perfectly done in my opinion. I'd totally be all about a ych theme or commission for a voodoo punk costume similar to this!
MAN what I would pay to see a professional comic/movie series to be made based on all 4 operas, even if loosely so. I saw their live play performances.. wish I was impressed.. :") the dolls were just sheet puppets on a broom stick. Talk about Buzz. Kill.
