Sadly, the destiny of a Prime is to fall in battle and it was my time to become one with the Matrix of Leadership and join my fellow Primes, including Optimus Prime. But like a phoenix being reborn from its ashes, a new Prime arises to lead the Autobots in their darkest hour.

Enter Sapphire Prime, the first female Prime since Solus Prime*. In the beginning, she was once a Cybertronian protoform that scanned a human and transformed into a infant. For 18 years, she spent her life living as Sarah Hendred, daughter of head scientists Professor Henry and Maria Hendred. She would not learn of her Cybertronian heritage until her family came in contact with the Autobots. As she couldn't transform like the others, she had a transtector** built to act as her Cybertronian body. By the time it was completed, however, I had already died protecting everyone from the Decepticons' ultimate weapon. During her first battle as a Transformer, Sarah discovered that she can harness the power of the past Primes. With this knowledge, she assumed the role of leadership as well as the name "Sapphire Prime".
